Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Mosawer ("we", "us") helps photographers deliver photos live to event guests with face recognition. This page describes what we collect, why, and how to control it.

What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, profile image you choose to upload.
  • Photos you upload — stored privately per album in object storage.
  • Face embeddings — when a guest takes a selfie to find their photos, we compute a numerical embedding for matching. The selfie image itself is not retained beyond the duration of the search.
  • Subscriber emails — only if a guest opts in to receive album updates.

Face recognition

Face matching runs only when a guest explicitly initiates a "Find me" search inside an album. We don't index faces across albums or across photographers. Embeddings are scoped to a single album and used only to match a guest to photos within it.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We use sub-processors for storage (Cloudflare R2), email (Resend), payments (Polar), and observability (Sentry, PostHog). Each sub-processor receives only the data needed for its specific function.

Your controls

You can delete any album (and its photos and embeddings) at any time from your dashboard. You can delete your account by contacting us via the Contact page.
